This superior villa is well located in the charming, traditional village of Peyeia with a good selection of taverns, bars and shops. It is only a few minutes drive to the tourist resort of Coral Bay which has excellent amenities, restaurants and a beautiful beach with water-sports.

Interior

This modern, two storey villa offers stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished accommodation for a relaxing holiday. It has an attractive open plan living room, a dining area with patio doors to the terrace and a very well-equipped kitchen. Villa Melantha has four bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, en-suite facilities and air conditioning. There is one double bedroom and three twin bedrooms.

Exterior

Patio doors in the dining room lead out to the sun terrace surrounding the beautiful 10x5 metre swimming pool which has roman steps. Barbeque area and patio furniture provide a perfect location for al fresco dining in the wonderful Cypriot climate.

Amenities

Villa Melantha is situated near the centre of the friendly, traditional, Cypriot village of Peyeia which has supermarkets, shops, and a good choice of charming, family run taverns and restaurants. A large area of unspoilt parkland and the No 1 tourist attraction in 2005, the unique Bird and Animal Park, are just minutes away. The centre of the resort of Coral Bay is approximately 2.5 kilometres from the villa and offers a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops and a lovely sweeping beach with beach bar and a selection of water sports. Also close by is the charming village of Agios Georgios (St. George) from where off road vehicles can drive up the unspoilt coast and visit the famous caves. There are excellent restaurants in this area which overlook breathtaking scenery. A drive into the hills takes you into beautiful countryside and delightful traditional villages where you can enjoy a meal among the wonderfully friendly locals in a tavern. A 25 minute drive past the Tombs of the Kings takes you into the lively town of Paphos which is rich in night life, shopping for treasures to take home and a wealth of Cypriot and international cuisine. The picturesque old harbour area of Paphos is a relaxing place to sit over a meal while watching the beautiful yachts come and go. There are many marine excursions leaving from here and nearby the fabulous Aphrodite Water Park is superb attraction for family days out. The sporting and adventure facilities in the area are endless and include exciting jeep safaris, balloon flights and deep sea diving.

Services

For guests staying longer than a week there is a weekly maid service and a mid-week towel change. There is a safe provided for guests use which is payable locally.
