The villa is a conversion of a traditional, stone Vale do Lobo home with extensive, shaded and cool areas to protect guests from the hot, summer sun. It is set in large, private and mature grounds which wrap around a huge swimming pool and sun terraces. Conveniently located, in the centre of Vale do Lobo, it is a ten-minute drive to the exclusive and sophisticated resort of Quinta do Lago. This offers an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and designer boutiques in a lively atmosphere.
InteriorThis is a converted, two-storey, villa with thick, stone, walls and traditional architecture. It has a large, comfortably decorated living room with a high ceiling, a dining area and several patio doors leading to a deep, covered terrace. A big, family kitchen with a superb, modern, Aga-style range and a breakfast table provides good facilities for a self catering holiday. This unusual, very spacious villa has five bedrooms, four of which are on the ground floor. One has a double, four-poster bed, a cosy seating area, patio doors to a terrace and an en-suite shower room with two very large, walk-in showers. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, one has an en-suite shower room and the second shares a shower room with the third bedroom. This is ideal for children with built-in twin and bunk beds, sleeping up to four. The fabulous master suite is on the first floor. Decorated in a warm, Moroccan dusty-red, this marvellous room has a pitched ceiling and patio doors to a terrace, which is perfect for private sunbathing and has lovely views. It has a double king-size bed, two sofas, a large en-suite shower room and a dressing room.
ExteriorThis gated property is set in extensive, private, grounds overlooking the green lawns of the adjacent golf course. It has a spectacular, covered, outdoor entertainment area with a large dining table and a catering size gas barbecue. Romantically lit at night, this makes a magical setting for al fresco dining and a furnished, shaded terrace outside the living room, provides respite from the sun. The vast, 15x7 metre swimming pool has a small diving board and is accessed by roman steps. There is a pool side shower, an extensive, sun bathing terrace and the added luxury of a six-seater Jacuzzi, which together with pool heating is available at an extra cost. A children’s play area and a gazebo with hammocks are also located in the garden. The first floor terrace outside the master bedroom looks over the swimming pool and has distant views of the sea.
AmenitiesThis stunning villa is located on the exclusive and prestigious resort of Vale do Lobo. The resort is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The golden sand beach is bordered by red sandstone cliffs and gently lapped by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Less than a ten minute drive away is the extremely exclusive, resort of Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the exclusive resort of Vilamoura and its picturesque marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. A twenty-five minute drive inland takes you to the small village of Guia, famous for its spectacular Zoo-Marine park where there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
ServicesFor this villa there is a maid service six times a week and a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change.
