This excellent, modern villa is enclosed by mature gardens and is located in the sought after area of Areias dos Moinhos. It is two kilometres from the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro and a sandy, cove beach. One of the worlds’ top 100 beaches at Praia do Marinha and the popular Aqua Park at Lagoa are only a ten minute drive and there are two world class golf courses nearby. This villa benefits from a separate annexe bedroom.

Interior

Villa Pleiades has been elegantly furnished. A large, welcoming entrance hall, with large picture windows leads to the attractive living room. This has a fireplace, a dining area and two patio doors to a covered terrace. There is a very modern and well-appointed kitchen providing excellent self-catering facilities and a utility room with a large freezer and a washing machine. This superior villa has four bedrooms. One of these is in a separate annexe which is separated from the main house by an open patio. It has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. There is a bedroom with twin beds on the ground floor of the villa. This has patio doors to the terrace and an en-suite shower room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with double beds, one of which consists of two separate mattresses placed together. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes, patio doors to a terrace and one has an en-suite bathroom, the other an en-suite shower room. There is a guest cloakroom on the ground floor. The villa benefits from air-conditioning.

Exterior

A driveway leads up to this gated property and an attractive garden extends around the villa, including the annexe. The large, covered terrace outside the living room has dining furniture and makes a beautiful setting for al fresco living. It overlooks the beautiful 10x4 metre swimming pool which is entered by roman steps and has a surrounding sun terrace with a poolside shower. A pleasant, shady seating area is located in the garden under the trees.

Amenities

This villa is ideally located in the popular resort of Areias Dos Moinhos. The surrounding countryside is a beautiful area of citrus groves and vineyards. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Algarve and it is only a fifteen minute walk downhill to two beautiful, sandy beaches. A similar distance takes you to the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine. With a supermarket, pharmacy, shops and banks, guests have everything on their doorstep. The nearby, bustling town of Portimao has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. The nearby, small village of Guia has a superb Zoo- Marine park with shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins. It is approximately a thirty minute drive to the top-class resort of Villamoura with a marina, golf courses, a casino and broad, sandy beaches.

Services

For this villa there is a maid service three times a week and a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. Air conditioning is included between the dates of 6th June and 6th September but outside of these dates is extra and charged locally. Central oil heating is available for the cooler months at an extra cost which is payable locally. For guests arriving after 10 p.m. there is a €25 charge to be paid locally.
