Its breathtaking views and proximity to miles of picturesque coastline makes this a wonderful setting for a relaxing villa holiday. Surrounded by lemon and orange groves, the villa is close to the charming, lively, village of Polis with its excellent amenities and wealth of taverns, restaurants and bars. The nearby, sleepy village of Latsi attracts visitors from afar to its excellent, traditional fish restaurants and offers a selection of marine excursions. A superb child’s play area and pool are shared with the identical, neighbouring Villa Cressida which can also be booked for larger groups.
InteriorVilla Cleopatra is a bright and spacious, two storey villa, which has been decorated to a high standard in Cypriot style. It has a large, attractively furnished living room, which has views to the swimming pool through a large, arched, window with patio doors. The separate, modern kitchen is well appointed and has a dining table and chairs. The villa has three bedrooms, the first located on the ground floor, with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a guest cloakroom and toilet on this floor. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a large, four poster bed, a private furnished balcony and an en-suite bathroom, with a Jacuzzi bath. The second first floor bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room with a hydro-massage shower. There is a large balcony on the first floor with patio furniture and breathtaking views of Argaka coastline.Villa Cleopatra has air-conditioning throughout which is included in the rental cost. As from January 2008 the villa will also benefit from dial up internet connection which incurrs an extra charge which is payable locally. This must be booked at least one month prior to arrival.
ExteriorThe magnificent 14x7 swimming pool is accessed by ladder steps and has a water-cascade feature. It is surrounded by an extensive sun bathing terrace with ample sun beds and a dining area with a patio table and chairs. The principal al fresco, dining area with barbeque is located outside the living room overlooking the colourful garden and swimming pool. Villa Cleopatra and the next door Villa Cressida share a wonderful children’s playground, with a children’s pool, swings, climbing frame, and a wooden boat to play and climb on. A large built-in barbeque and bar area is located here, in a lovely garden surrounded by orange and lemon trees. These identical villas are ideal for large groups but are also perfect for groups wishing to book only one.
AmenitiesAlthough this villa is in a country location it is only minutes from several villages with tavern restaurants and supermarkets. A five minute drive takes you to the larger coastal village of Polis, which has become a charming and buzzy venue for people wanting the smaller tourist areas on the island. It has a picturesque square full of lively Cypriot bars and restaurants with a few shops in between, this is a perfect venue to while away the hours eating delicious food and enjoying local life. A kilometre from Polis is the simple, sleepy fishing village of Latti which has a lovely beach and is famous for its excellent fish restaurants. The popular attraction of Aphrodite’s Baths are nearby and provide a fascinating glimpse of local culture. The main, lively tourist areas of Coral Bay and Paphos are a twenty minute drive from the villa and there you can find a wealth of attractions and excursions of all varieties. The sporting and adventure facilities are endless and include exciting jeep safaris, balloon flights and sea fishing, as well as wonderful marine excursions.
