Set in splendid, mature and well-maintained gardens, it provides a peaceful haven for a relaxing holiday. It is ideally located, approximately 3 kilometres from the picturesque town of Pollensa and 5 kilometres to the nearest sandy beach.
InteriorVilla Son Boscona is set on two floors. It is extremely spacious and decorated to a very high standard, using modern furnishings together with lovely, local antiques and artifacts. High wood beamed ceilings help provide a feeling of airiness, together with large doors and windows overlooking the grounds. A large, elegantly furnished hallway welcomes you into the villa. It leads to a living room with patio doors to the terrace, the dining room and a modern, fully fitted kitchen, with access to the garden. Stairs in the hall take you up to a cosy, galleried living room with a fireplace and patio doors to a large, furnished terrace which has superb views over the countryside. Villa Son Boscona has four bedrooms, three of which are upstairs. The master bedroom has a double bed, doors to the terrace and an en-suite shower room. There are two bedrooms with twin beds on this level and they share a family bathroom. A further bedroom with twin beds and access to a shower room is located on the ground floor.
ExteriorThis excellent villa is set in an idyllic location within the grounds of an old Mallorquine estate which has mature gardens and extensive terraces. The old stables on the property have been converted into a covered barbecue area and a shower room with WC. To one side of the property is the 10x5 metre swimming pool, which is entered by integral steps and surrounded by a large sun bathing terrace. Directly outside the house, a big, covered terrace has been furnished to provide a glorious, shaded area for al fresco fining.
AmenitiesThe friendly village of Pollensa is located only 3 kilometres from the villa and is a good base from which to explore the dramatic scenery of Mallorca’s northeast coast. Located 63 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca, pretty Pollensa sits in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and is full of traditional charm. Narrow, winding streets lead to the bustling town square, the Plaza Major, where you can enjoy memorable hours of alfresco dining, or just have a drink, at one of the many charming local bars. Approximately 6 kilometres away in the relaxed, family resort of Port de Pollensa you will find the Bay of Pollensa with its sheltered horseshoe shaped beach and warm, shallow aquamarine waters. A beautiful, tree lined promenade stretches along the seafront to the harbour where you can enjoy a selection of marine excursions. Port de Pollensa has an excellent selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and even offers a fine variety of antique shops and art galleries. There is a Sunday market in the town of Pollensa and a Wednesday market in the Port de Pollensa brimming with colourful local produce and handicrafts. A nine-hole golf course, ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is less than 5 kilometres away. The larger resort of Alcudia is only 11 kilometres away from the town of Pollensa. Alcudia boasts one of the largest beaches on Mallorca and for families there is the water park. Also within easy reach is one of the smallest resorts on the island, Cala San Vicente. This pretty coastal village boasts 3 small beaches and coves, and is known to be one of the most outstanding beauty spots on the north coast of Mallorca.
