This villa is on a superb, very attractive, small development offering excellent facilities and is located in extensive, colourful, sub-tropical gardens. The complex offers a large selection of extras and an extremely high level of client care and service, together with a 24 hour reception. It has been awarded the status of a Biosphere Hotel by the Spanish government in recognition of it’s compliance with the environmental standards for responsible tourism set by UNESCO. Thanks to the regular hosting of international artists there are many original paintings and works of art both in the villa and in the communal areas. The on-site restaurant, beautiful swimming pool, children’s pool and play area add to the relaxing, holiday ambience of this accommodation. There is an on-site supermarket and it is only a few minutes walk to the Matagorda beach, a large variety of restaurants, bars and shops.

Interior

This attractive, bungalow style villa is very spacious and is the only three bed-roomed property on the development. It is ideal for families or larger groups wanting to enjoy the benefits of privacy while also enjoying the varied facilities of an extremely well -run complex. It has a large living room with comfortable seating, satellite TV, a telephone and door to the terrace. There is a separate dining room with seating for six and a big, well-equipped kitchen. Casita Leticia has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, and a large en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms with twin beds and a further spacious family bathroom. Entrance to the property is either through the complex or through a private door at the back of the house. A further child under 12 can be accommodated on a sofa bed in the living room.

Exterior

Outside the villa is a private, walled courtyard which provides an idyllic, sheltered area for al fresco dining. It has a gate leading onto the charming, small complex of attractive bungalows. The communal areas are superb and are set in 12,000 square metres of gardens planted with palm trees and colourful sub-tropical plants. There is a large communal pool which has Roman steps and is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing terraces. Both of the pools are Solar Heated and there are poolside showers placed on all the terraces. Sunbeds and bamboo parasols are placed around the pool for guests to use. There is also a children’s pool for the use of younger clients. In addition to the pool area there is mini-golf, children’s playground, pool table and table tennis which are available for guests’ use. Works of art from all over the world can be seen on the complex and the owners have taken great care to create a tranquil, relaxing setting. Wheelchair ramps link the entire development and there is an outdoor disabled toilet and shower.

Amenities

This accommodation is located in the very popular Matagorda area, in the tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen. It is much less busy than the centre of the resort, but still has a very good selection of amenities. It is only 100 metres from the sea and an attractive, lit promenade links Matagorda beach to the main beaches in Puerto del Carmen which start approximately one kilometre away. The Matagorda shopping centre is only a two minute walk from the complex and offers a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Only a short drive away is a small Wild West theme park where children can enjoy the daily parrot, alligator and eagle shows. The local bus runs a regular service between Matagorda and the centre of Puerto del Carmen and also into the capital city of Arrecife. The transfer time from the airport to Matagorda is approximately ten minutes.

Services

The property is cleaned six days per week, towels are changed three times per week and sheets once per week. There is often entertainment in the on-site restaurant, including a flamenco and paella night and a barbecue night. Guests also enjoy a complimentary cocktail in the restaurant on arrival and there is an on-site supermarket and internet WI-FI access. The complex has a reception area and for guests who have a late departure there is the option of using a shared lounge and showers. An additional charge is made locally for this service. A discounted rate can be arranged for golfers at the Costa Teguise Golf Club through reception. Guests are required to pay a fully refundable €100 on arrival. Calls made on the telephone in the villa to the UK cost less than from public call boxes.

Car Requirements

A car is not considered essential for this accommodation but is recommended for clients who would like to experience the beautiful and varied attractions of the island.
