Located within the picturesque village of Xewkija this delightful, rustic, 200 year old townhouse is centrally located, just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful rotunda church which has the third largest dome in Europe.

Interior

The lovely, original limestone walls of this traditional townhouse are very thick and ensure that the villa remains comfortably cool in the hot summer months and along with the authentic architecture, provides the setting for a very memorable holiday on this special island. The entrance to the villa leads into a courtyard and pool area. On the ground floor is a beautifully decorated kitchen and living come dining room, both of which overlook the pool area. There are three bedrooms. Two twin bedrooms are situated on first floor and have an en-suite shower room and the master bedroom is on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom. For extra convenience an extra guest toilet is situated on the ground floor. On the second floor is a sheltered sun terrace with panoramic views of the village and surrounding countryside.

Exterior

The pretty pool area and terrace of this property is very sheltered with high, mellow limestone walls with patio dining furniture and a barbeque. The terrace surrounds the lovely 6 x 2.8 metre swimming pool and provides an ideal location for those seeking a typical relaxed Gozo holiday.

Amenities

This townhouse is situated in a small cul-de-sac within the traditional village of Xewkija, home to the rotunda church. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest mini market and there a couple of small, local bars within a 5 minute drive. The capital of Victoria and the fishing village Mgarr are a short drive away and provide the nearest restaurants.

Services

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service with a mid week towel change and bathroom clean.

It is essential to hire a car on this fascinating island. The roads are good and every kilometre brings a new and interesting surprise. We can supply a good selection of hire cars or jeeps.
