This is a very spacious and light villa set in a lovely pine tree garden. It is only five minute walking distance to the beach of Cala Nova and the resort of Es Cana is only five kilometres away and offers additional amenities for the entire family.

Interior

This villa is very spacious throughout and is set on one level. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and is open plan to a spacious dining area. Patio doors lead from the living room to the covered terrace. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and has an open doorway to the dining area. This lovely villa has three very attractive bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a double bed and direct access through patio doors to the garden and pool area. The other bedroom has twin beds. All three bedrooms have their own en-suite shower room. For additional convenience there is also a cloak room.

Exterior

The exterior of this villa is quite unique. To the side of the villa, set in the gardens, is an old sail boat which has been painted and placed under the pine trees as decoration. A large sun-drenched terrace area surrounds the 10x5 metre pool which has roman steps. A shaded dining terrace is comfortably furnished with patio furniture and can be accessed by the living room for alfresco dining. To the side of the pool area is an elevated, covered barbecue terrace with a large stone dining table and chairs perfect for an aperitif whilst relaxing.

Amenities

Villa Dos de Mayo is located about 5 kilometres away from the holiday resort of Es Cana. From the villa is a path which leads directly to the beautiful cove of Cala Nova which has its own beach restaurant. Connected to it, a little further down, is a smaller beach named Cala Llenya. The beach there is safe and supervised by lifeguards in summer which is perfect for families with children. There are some excellent water sports in Es Cana including sailing, banana boat, windsurfing, parasailing, catamaran, and diving. Es Cana is a holiday destination complete with all amenities, including good restaurants and an excellent choice of pubs and bars. For children there is a water park and a small attraction park. A scenic road train drives through Es Cana and the surrounding area along with a ferry boat that departs for the neighbouring resorts of Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town. A boat trip to the tiny island of Formentora is another popular day out. Es Cana is also well known for the Hippy Market, which takes place every Wednesday. Cala Llonga is 10 kilometres away to the south where you can enjoy horse riding or for the less energetic sit back and enjoy the spectacular views across the sea from the fantastic chill out restaurant which is steeped on a cliff.

Services

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service. A refundable security deposit of 2000euros will be taken as an imprint on your credit card. A welcome pack can be provided for an additional charge.
