This wonderful, luxurious three-bedroom villa is located on a hilltop overlooking the sea towards Gibraltar and Africa. It is set in extensive, well-tended, tropical gardens with spacious terraces and a lovely large, private swimming pool. It is an excellent, peaceful location on the outskirts of the charming, historic town of Estepona. It is within walking distance to one of the nicest beaches in the area, making it the perfect location for a memorable and relaxing holiday.

Interior

This superb, two storey villa has large patio doors in all the rooms with beautiful views to the sea making it very sunny and bright throughout. The spacious, stylish living room has a large dining area, sea views and several doors to the beautiful, covered terrace. There is a separate, modern and well-equipped kitchen. The villa has three attractive bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor both with patio doors leading to the garden and they share a generous sized shower room. The master bedroom is located on the top floor it has a double bed doors leading onto a spacious, private terrace. It has a separate bathroom with a Jacuzzi, a separate shower and toilet. The entire villa has under floor heating and there is also a ceiling fan in the living room.

Exterior

Outside the living room there is a large, sheltered dining terrace with steps leading down to the swimming pool. On the first floor there is a terrace off the master bedroom and a room that can be used as a children' play room. The villa is set in mature, tranquil, sub-tropical gardens. A huge sunbathing terrace surrounds the beautiful, private 8x4 metre swimming pool which is accessed by roman steps and had a pool side built-in barbecue. These lovely grounds provide a perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday in a famously glorious climate.

Amenities

Villa Del Sol is located on the outskirts of the beautiful, colourful town of Estepona. The beach is within reach on foot, but it would take a good twenty minutes. The closest beach is Playa Del Cristo, which is one of the best beaches in Estepona. It lies in a cove protected from the wind and the water is very shallow, therefore ideal for guests with small children. There are two traditional beach restaurants locally called "Chiringuito" which provide sun beds and have delicious Spanish food. The harbour is a five-minute drive from the villa where a tourist market takes place every Sunday and fishing and dolphin excursions depart from regularly. The old fishing village of Estepona is enchanting with many local tapas bars and fish restaurants to sit and enjoy Andalucian food and watch the world go by. In summer time, the locals rent sand filled fishing boats, owned by the town hall for the purpose of barbequing on the beaches and the Chiringuitos use them to grill fresh sardines and serve them to their guests. The historic and unspoilt centre of Estepona with it's colourful winding streets and superlative architecture is about a seven minute drive from the villa and a half an hour stroll along the promenade would bring you back to the harbour.

Services

For guests staying longer then two weeks there is a mid weekly towel and linen change as well as a mini-clean. A refundable security deposit of 300€ is requested at the time of handing over the keys.
