(as rated by 2 recent visitors) | This excellent, two-storey farmhouse is located in the centre of the traditional village of Gharb. It is just a few minutes walk from the central picturesque square, which has a couple of local bars and restaurants.
InteriorAs you enter this charming property, a beautiful courtyard filled with potted plants awaits you. It leads through to the open plan living room, which has a choice of seating areas and beautiful, arched Gozitan ceilings. The spacious and rustic kitchen has a dining table and patio doors leading to the pool area. Ta Mikel has four bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor; it has a double bed and access to a shower room. The three remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor. There are two double bedrooms, one has an en-suite shower room and the other has an en-suite bathroom and patio doors leading to a private balcony. The fourth bedroom is an ideal family room, as it is spacious and has a double and a single bed. This bedroom has a walk-in bathroom and a patio door leading to a balcony.
ExteriorPatio doors from the kitchen lead to the large, private terrace which has a choice of seating areas and a barbecue, offering an ideal setting for al fresco dining in the beautiful weather. Plenty of sun beds surround the beautiful 6.5 x 3.3 metre swimming pool, which can be entered via integral steps and has a small children’s pool at one end.
AmenitiesTa Mikel is situated in the typical Gozitan village of Gharb. There is a small central village square about a three minute drive, with a pharmacy, bakery, supermarket and a bar. A couple of farmhouse style restaurants can be found in the village and the resorts of Xlendi and Marsalforn are a short drive away with a selection of more restaurants and local bars.
