The fabulous beach is less than a five minute walk and the trendy bars and cafes in the stylish La Praca square come alive during the summer months. The neighbouring resort of Quinta do Lago is a ten minute drive, where there is an excellent choice of designer boutiques, restaurants and bars offering a lively and sophisticated atmosphere.
InteriorThis beautiful, three-storey villa has recently been renovated to a high standard. The ground floor is open plan with a living room and a dining area, with sea views, is next to the modern kitchen. Villa Rufino has three delightful bedrooms, which all have air conditioning. On the first floor are two twin bedrooms which share a fully-fitted shower room. The master bedroom is on the second floor. It has a double bed, a bathroom with a separate shower and patio doors opening on to a Juliette balcony.
ExteriorPatio doors from the living room lead to a pretty terrace, which has patio dining furniture and a barbecue. Internal stairs from the second floor lead to a private roof terrace, which offers magnificent sea views. The villa is located within a picturesque development, with cobbled pathways and well-maintained, sub-tropical gardens.
AmenitiesVilla Rufino is less than a five minute walk to the seemingly endless, white, sandy beach, bordered by red sandstone cliffs, leading to the neighbouring resorts of Quarteira, Quinta do Lago and stretches as far as Faro. On the beachfront there is a square called La Praça, which has a variety of quality cafes, bars and restaurants offering traditional and international, mouth-watering cuisine. In the evenings the bars have a selection of live music and there is a regular disco on the beach during the summer. There is a well stocked supermarket, situated at the entrance to the resort and a shopping centre in the Parque do Golfe complex, which has a range of boutiques, a beauty centre, a newsagent and a bank. Vale do Lobo offers miles of world class golf courses and a well-known tennis school for sports enthusiasts. The beautifully manicured gardens and parkland provide an idyllic setting for peaceful walks. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the prestigious resort of Vilamoura with its exclusive and sophisticated marina. It is lined with an abundant choice of pavement cafes, international restaurants and bars, as well as fabulous, designer boutiques. Excellent marine excursions leave from here such as big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting.
ServicesFor this villa there is a maid service five times a week and a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change.Clients are required to pay a refundable security deposit of £200 in cash to the local manager upon arrival.
