It is set in beautifully maintained, mature gardens with a private swimming pool. A delightful internal courtyard and a large roof terrace provide additional areas in which to enjoy this marvellous climate. It is a five minute walk to the fishing village of Carvoeiro, which has a sandy, cove beach and a good selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. The town of Lagoa is only a five minute drive and the varied sporting facilities in the area include world famous golf courses, boat excursions, tennis, horse riding and scuba diving.
InteriorThis luxurious, single-storey villa has an open plan living room with a feature fireplace and patio doors leading to a terrace. A couple of steps lead up to the formal dining area, which also has patio doors leading to a covered dining terrace. The modern kitchen has recently been refurbished and has a separate utility area. Villa Tagarro has two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with huge, sunken marble bath and patio doors leading to a terrace. The second bedroom has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and patio doors leading to a terrace.
ExteriorVilla Tagarro is on a private plot, approached down a tree lined driveway. It is surrounded by mature pine and lemon trees and beautifully maintained gardens with lush green lawns. The swimming pool is entered via roman steps; it measures 9 x 5 metres and can be heated at an extra charge. There are a choice of sunbathing terraces to choose from, including the roof terrace, which offers fabulous sea and countryside views. The pretty central courtyard has a dining table and feature barbecue, making it a perfect spot for al fresco dining at any time of year.
AmenitiesThis remarkable holiday villa is located in the popular resort of Carvoeiro Clube, with its fabulous tennis facilities. It is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Algarve and it is only a fifteen minute walk downhill to two beautiful, sandy beaches. A similar distance takes you to the cosmopolitan, village of Carvoeiro with a picturesque cove beach, bars and restaurants, offering traditional and international cuisine. With a supermarket, pharmacy, shops and banks, guests have everything on their doorstep. The nearby, bustling town of Portimao has a marina with a variety of excursions, including boat rentals, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, dolphin and whale spotting. The nearby, small village of Guia has a superb Zoo-Marine park with shows and the opportunity to swim with dolphins. It is approximately a thirty minute drive to the top-class resort of Villamoura with a marina, golf courses, a casino and broad, sandy beaches.
ServicesFor this villa there is a maid service three times a week and a mid week towel change. For guests staying longer than one week there is also a weekly linen change. Underfloor heating and pool heating are available at an extra charge.
