This impressive, modern villa is situated in a peaceful residential area. It offers a superb standard of holiday accommodation for a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the resort centre. It is close to all that this lovely, southern coast of Lanzarote has to offer, including the breathtaking Papagayo beaches. A small selection of restaurants, bars and a convenience store are within a five minute walk from the villa and it is a short drive into the resort.

Interior

This excellent, two storey villa is furnished to a very high standard and has marble floors throughout. On the ground floor is the tastefully decorated living room, which has patio doors leading to a covered terrace. The modern kitchen is separated from the living room by a breakfast bar and has a door leading to a covered dining terrace. Casa Jandia has three attractive bedrooms. A marble stairway leads to the large master suite which has a dressing area and en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. Patio doors from the master bedroom lead to the private upper terrace, which offers fabulous sea views to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. On the ground floor there are two twin bedrooms, which share a fully-fitted family bathroom.

Exterior

Wooden French doors from the living room lead to a covered terrace with patio furniture, overlooking the electrically heated 6 x3 metre swimming pool which is entered by integral steps. This is an idyllic location in which to sit and enjoy a glass of sangria. A door from the kitchen leads to an impressive dining terrace, perfect for a shaded al-fresco dining experience. The villa also has a private parking space.

Amenities

This villa is conveniently located a five minute drive from the centre of the resort, towards the old lighthouse of Playa Blanca. Within a five minute walk is a small commercial centre with a mini-mart and a couple of restaurants but a greater selection can be found in the town centre of Playa Blanca. In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. The start of the 5 km long promenade which runs along the seafront and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops is a very short drive from the villa. The nearest golden sand beach is Playa Flamingo, a five minute drive away which is extremely popular with families due to its shallow, calm lagoon. The harbour of Playa Blanca is also the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to the unspoilt Papagayo beaches. The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a fifteen minute drive away within the Los Ajaches Natural Park and are famous for their golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters. The traditional Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfaya.
