This charming villa is in a peaceful, hilltop location, with the most breathtaking views of the sea, which glitters across the horizon. The villa is situated in the Nerja countryside and is surrounded by farmland, still cultivated by the owner, growing avocado and mango trees. It is just five minutes drive to the nearest beach, an ideal place to snorkel in the clear waters and ten minutes to the town centre of Nerja, with its variety of shops, restaurants, bars and 18-hole golf course.

Interior

This enchanting, two-storey villa has a traditional, rustic character. The delightful living room has a homely feel, with comfortable sofas, traditional rocking chairs and a dining table. The separate, modern kitchen has all of the necessary facilities for a villa holiday. There is also a fully-fitted bathroom on the ground floor. Villa Cueva has four attractive bedrooms on the first floor. There are two bedrooms with double beds and two with twin beds. Also on this level, there is a bathroom and a door leading to a covered balcony, offering amazing sea views.

Exterior

A door from the living room leads to the huge terrace which spans across the front and side of the villa, offering fabulous views of the sea and mountains from every angle. At the side of the house is the pool area, where there are ample sun loungers surrounding the 5.5 x 3.5 swimming pool, entered via ladder steps. There is also a covered barbecue and food preparation area, making this an ideal place for entertaining and al fresco dining in the beautiful climate.

Amenities

Nerja is set on a mountainside and is most famous for its “Balcon de Europa”. This is a fantastic viewpoint built into the side of a cliff with spectacular views to the sea. The town centre is lovely with white washed houses, cobblestone streets and a good choice of restaurants. From here you can also take a romantic horse carriage ride. There are several beaches along the Nerja coastline. The biggest one is Burriana beach and offers a wide range of tourist facilities ranging from water sport activities to small supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There are more hidden beaches to be discovered along the coast, which can only be accessed by foot. Nerja also has a fabulous 18-hole golf course and is close to many other courses in the Costa del Sol.
