This is a charming, country villa with traditional Spanish decor. Located in a peaceful, rural setting and surrounded by orange, lemon and banana plantations. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the sea sparkles on the horizon. The villa is situated in the Nerja countryside, only 600 metres to the golden beach, an ideal place to snorkel in the clear waters. It is 2 kilometres to the town centre of Nerja, with its variety of shops, restaurants, bars and 18-hole golf course.

Interior

This beautiful, single-storey villa has a charming, open-plan living room, with a dining table, a feature fireplace and patio doors, leading to a covered terrace. There is a separate, contemporary, fully-fitted kitchen. Casa Barranco has three lovely bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room. The remaining two bedrooms have twin beds and share a fully-fitted family bathroom. The villa will accommodate up to six adults and one child under twelve on a fold-away bed.

Exterior

Patio doors from the living room lead to a large, covered dining terrace which has the most fabulous distant sea and mountain views. From the terrace there is a gate to the pool area with a 7 x 4 metre swimming pool, which is entered via ladder steps. Ample sun loungers, patio furniture and a built-in barbecue surround the pool, making this villa a perfect place for entertaining and alfresco dining.

Amenities

Nerja is set on a mountainside and is most famous for its “Balcon de Europa”. This is a fantastic viewpoint built into the side of a cliff with spectacular views to the sea. The town centre is lovely with white washed houses, cobblestone streets and a good choice of restaurants. From here you can also take a romantic horse carriage ride. There are several beaches along the Nerja coastline. The biggest one is Burriana beach and offers a wide range of tourist facilities ranging from water sport activities to small supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There are more hidden beaches to be discovered along the coast, which can only be accessed by foot. Nerja also has a fabulous 18-hole golf course and is close to many other courses in the Costa del Sol.
