Sannat
Sannat is the most southerly village on the island nestling under the impressive Ta’Cenc cliffs with spectacular sea and country views. Separating Sannat from the neighbouring village of Xewkija is the breathtaking Hanzira valley which leads down to Mgarr ix-Xini Bay, one of the best places on Gozo for diving. Nearby are the prehistoric remains of the L-Imramma temple. Once the centre of the island's lace making cottage industry you may still see the local people sitting outside their houses furiously working away. In addition to the breathtaking views of the countryside and the sea, there is a variety of wild plants for nature lovers. With three local restaurants and a couple of local bars there is no need to go further to enjoy a peaceful holiday.
