Clifton
 Clifton is a small community nestled up against Lion's Head, between four stunning beaches and the dramatic mountain backdrop that Lion's Head provides. Most of the residences in Clifton are terraced up the mountain from the beaches, each with fantastic views of the beaches, ocean and mountains. Clifton is a short walk from Camp's Bay and Bantry Bay. About seven minutes drive is the City Bowl and the V&A Waterfront.
Clifton is the glamorous summer playground for many international visitors and South Africans. While the Atlantic is not warm, the Clifton beaches are popular for their pristine beauty and are very sheltered from the "Cape Doctor" - the often strong south-east wind that prevails during the summer months. Its proximity to Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, Sea Point and the City provide visitors with every amenity close by and a seemingly endless choice of excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. Clifton is a great location for families who want an on-the-beach holiday in Cape Town while being close enough to enjoy all the other activities, events and amenities that the Cape has to offer. As with most locations in Cape Town, a car is recommended but in Clifton is not essential.
